Now that the 2023 season is officially over the team are starting working on the maintenance side of things.

1st up is the sanding and painting of the sleepers and walk rounds.

Ken and Kieran started with the walk rounds these are the part of the wall that the audience stand on whist watching the show. They gave them a good wash and then repainted them, as you can imagine its always good to have them looking smart, and it give us a chance to check them over as well.

After this Ken and Abby started on the sleepers. These are the bottom most part of the structure and set out the footprint for everything above them. They replaced some wear patches and gave them a good sanding before painting. In between the wet spells it was nice to be able to undertake some of the work outside, which was rather a good thing as the sander creates a lot of dust.
